Vietnam advances in Green Future Index 2023

Vietnam has made progress in the Green Future Index 2023, climbing from its previous 56th position to a commendable 53rd place this year. The assessment looked into 76 countries and territories, evaluating their commitments to sustainable development and carbon dioxide emissions reductions in the foreseeable future.

The Green Future Index serves as a measure of how effectively an economy is transitioning towards cleaner energy sources, sustainable industries, agriculture, and environmentally conscious societies. It takes into account investments in renewable energy, advancements in clean innovation, and the implementation of eco-friendly policies.

Within the ASEAN region, Vietnam has secured fourth position in the Green Future Index 2023 behind Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia, showcasing its commitment to sustainability.
